AJAX is so important.
I can't stress that enough.
AJAX is used in a wide variety of web apps, including social media sites, e-commerce websites, and real-time chat applications. If you want to develop modern web applications, it is important to learn AJAX.
Here are some specific examples of how AJAX is used in popular web apps:
Google Maps: AJAX is used to load new map tiles and search results without reloading the entire page.
Facebook: AJAX is used to load new posts, comments, and friend notifications without reloading the page.
Amazon: AJAX is used to update the shopping cart and product recommendations without reloading the page.

The good news is that I have created the following 2 AJAX courses that I highly encourage you to look at:
AJAX Fundamentals. This is a great introduction to AJAX, and is about 12 hours long.
AJAX Beyond Fundamentals. If you are familiar with AJAX, or have done my first beginner course, then this one digs deeper into AJAX and teaches you about CORS, HTTP Authentication, RESTful APIs and more! It's about 16 hours long.
Understanding AJAX is not required for this course and certainly not required in order to understand how web forms work. However, I thought it was worth mentioning just in case you wanted to dig deeper.
Enough said.
Let's move on.
