Create the game of snake. The snake should start off small and grows larger when he eats apples. As the snake moves forward, it leaves a trail behind it. The game is over when the snake either hits the edge of the screen or eats part of its body. The more apples it eats the more points the player should receive. Apples should spawn randomly but consistently. The player should have only 3 lives until the game is over. They should be able to restart the game when this happens. Keep track of all the player's high scores in a high score table.

If you want an extra challenge, create a level in a text file exactly the size of the screen. Read in the level file (or files if you made more than one level) and at the initial screen of the game have the player choose which level he wants to play on. Have the snake have to navigate through the level. If the snake hits any part of the level, he dies. There should be a game over screen, and intro screen, and high score screen. If you have levels also have a screen to choose which level (maybe even a preview of that level could be drawn?).

Happy programming!
